The Central Florida AFL-CIO is comprised of over 100 Local Unions in the public and private sector, representing over 70,000 hard working men and women in Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.
Unions are one of our nation’s best tools to fight inequality and promote democratic values. As a daughter of working class immigrants, I know all too well the challenges families like mine faced as we strived to achieve upward economic mobility.
All working people deserve good jobs and the power to determine their wages and working conditions. I am honored to have the support of labor and am committed to working alongside unions and business owners to build a fair economy that works for all.
