Orlando, FL — Democratic candidate for Florida House District 47 Anna V. Eskamani has earned the endorsement of the Florida Professional Firefighters.

“The over 26,000 women and men that make up the Florida Professional Firefighters are proud to support the candidacy of Anna Eskamani for the Florida House. Anna has already proven to be great advocate of public safety issues and we have full confidence that she will champion our cause in Tallahassee,” said Wayne “Bernie” Bernoska, 3rd District Vice President of the Florida Professional Firefighters. “We look forward to working with Anna in the years to come and the firefighters are overjoyed to call her our friend”.

Anna offered the following quote in response:

“Working at a nonprofit like Planned Parenthood means that I have had amazing collaborations with our public safety workers. Whether it be managing risk and streamlining emergency response systems, or working alongside law enforcement to keep our patients and staff safe, it is always a honor to work alongside the men and women who do this important work each and everyday. Firefighters are real life superheroes, and I am committed to ensuring that all public safety workers and emergency responders are protected with strong pensions, fair wages, and good benefits that include support for PTSD.”

Anna received the endorsement of the Orlando Firefighters earlier this month.
